Airy Chamber of Commerce 2010 Membership Drive was an overwhelming success as members took advantage of the outstanding discounts and the opportunity to network among members. A special thank you to Century Ford, Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, who again showed their support of the Chamber by donating the use of their dealership, and to Costco and The Town Grill for supplying refreshments and dessert. We also want to welcome to the community and thank The Mt. Airy Tavern (now open) who donated all of the delicious food for our event. if you are interested in hosting or co-sponsoring in either month and take advantage of the opportunity to market your business to fellow Chamber members. A Note from the Outgoing President As my 2 year tenure as President concludes at the end of December, I want to take this opportunity to thank all of the countless business leaders, committee chairs, and chamber members who have made my experience as President a positive one. As an organization which is run strictly by volunteers, it was rewarding to work alongside so many talented business people who shared our vision and regardless of the economic climate around us, found time to give back to the local business community. I can truly say that Mt. Airy is a wonderful place to own a business, do business in and live, and I am certain the support the Greater Mt. Airy Chamber of Commerce gives to the community is a primary factor. I look forward to working with our incoming President, Kerry Turner, as she begins her term on January 1, 2010. Kerry and the entire incoming Executive Board have a lot of great ideas to further enhance the Mt. Airy business community and the role our Chamber plays. There are too many people to list individually but thank you for your hard work and dedication. ~Aaron Kahn~ Looking for Community Event Information?
