JULY MEMBERSHIP MEETING Our monthly meeting will be held on Thursday July 7th at 8am at the Mt Airy Fire Hall (corner of Watersville Rd and Main St, enter through the back doors). As always, there will be a very full agenda and we hope to have many members in attendance. MOUNT AIRY PHONE BOOK The Mount Airy Phone Book should be showing up in 21771 mailboxes at the end of July. Keir Knight of Plain English Writing & Design reports that although the project has taken longer than anticipated, it has been a tremendous success. The book is 156 pages thick, with an amazing 87 pages of local advertising. Keir also asks that over the course of the next 18 months, that Chamber members help out by letting him know of numbers that need to be added, deleted or amended, "There's no such thing as a wrong number," he says. "Only numbers that we haven't been told about!" You can reach Keir at (301) 829-1982 or e-mail
