GRANT APPLICATION GUIDELINES
- These grant application guidelines
are directed to non-profit groups/organizations with a direct link to
the 21771 zip code and the greater Mount Airy area; or any organization
that will benefit the area and its residents.
- These guidelines will also be applied
to other state, national or international organizations – if a
particular cause/event is brought to the Chamber’s attention by an
individual member or members.
- Requests for financial donations
should be made by completing the grant application form and submitting
the form with any supporting materials to the Chamber Treasurer or a
Finance Committee member. The Finance Committee will review all requests
and make recommendations to the Executive Committee for final review and
approval. All decisions on the distribution of funds are subject to a
vote by the Chamber membership at a monthly membership meeting.
- As indicated on the grant
application, all requests for funds must be sponsored by a member of the
Chamber.
