BUSINESS CARD EXCHANGE FEBRUARY 24TH
Our Greater Mt. Airy Chamber of Commerce Business Card Exchange
was held on February 24, 2005 at the Stauffer Funeral Homes location in
Mount Airy. This event was hosted by Doug Stauffer, George and Courtney Stauffer
and D. J. Fenton of Stauffer Funeral Homes; Ellie and Rene Bonde of Blossom &
Basket Boutique and the Secret Stork; and Julie Kennedy of Inspiration Point.
With lots of delicious food and drinks, forty-eight people were
greeted by a large flat screen TV showing various events that the Chamber has
participated in and other pictures of businesses in Mt. Airy. Then they were
able to wander around to 13 tables holding formation on 13 businesses in our
Chamber. It gave several of our guests a good picture of who we are as a
Chamber. It was very well set up and greatly appreciated. The 13 businesses who
participated were: Kemptown, Too, Mt. Airy Dent Repair & Touch Up, Susan King
- Interiors by Decorating Den, Karen Skidmore, Completely Fit, Paula Wilhelm,
Raymond Letterheads, Jim Gill, JMG Enterprises, Rob Truelove, Signs By Tomorrow,
Sudha Kaistha, SK Printing, Tim Barkley, Law, Jennifer Swanhart, Tastefully
Simple, Barbara Keith, Mt. Airy Jaycees, and Julie Kennedy, Inspiration Point.
Door Prizes were won by:
Picture Memory CD by Stauffer Funeral Homes – Paul Clay, Long
& Foster Realtors
Basket Arrangement by Blossom & Basket Boutique - Archie Rogers, Rogers Stamping & Engraving
Inspiration Point Bag of Goodies – Jim Gill, JMG.
