BUSINESS CARD EXCHANGE REPORT
The Greater Mt. Airy Chamber of Commerce Business Card
Exchange was on September 13, 2004 and was hosted by Catonsville Homes at
the Lexington Model Home off of Watersville Road. A warm atmosphere surrounded
you as you entered this beautiful home.
Forty–one members and guests were warmly welcomed by Debbie
Johnson, Steve Edmondson, Rob Scranton and Frank Potepan of Catonsville Homes.
All attending had an opportunity to tour the home.
A delicious meal was served on the deck of the house.
Delicious cheesecake desserts from New York J & P Pizza rounded out the
meal.
Door Prizes were given by Charlie Stott and Jeff Aleshire - Susquehanna Bank – gift certificates to Rachel’s Garden, Brick
Ridge and a nursery.
Cassandra Lidin – Lamon, accupuncturist, a beautiful
basket full of edible goodies.
Ray Miller – New Horizon Van Lines, a gift certificate
to a bookstore.
Winners were James Jones- The Credit Card Store, Tim
Cahall – The Main Event, Dennis Regulinski – Mid-Atlantic Accounting
Solutions, Rene Bonde – The Blossom and Basket Boutique and Melinda

We will be presenting our slate of officers for the Chamber
for 2005 at our October 7th morning meeting. We will be voting on the
slate of officers at our November morning meeting. We encourage all our members
to come to our meetings and get involved.

GOVT. RELATIONS LUNCHEON
On Thursday, October 21 at 12:00 p.m. Maryland Sec of
Transportation Robert Flanagan will speak to us on at the Mt. Airy Fire Company
Activities Building for a lunch meeting. Cost is $15, make check payable to the
Mt. Airy Chamber of Commerce. RSVP to Michael Zimmer (410) 552-0685.
Lt Gov STEELE VISIT
The Chamber was very well represented on the occasion of
Lt.Gov. Michael Steele’s visit to town on September 30.
