MARCH MEMBERSHIP MEETING Our monthly meeting will be held on Thursday 3rd March at 8am – at the Mt Airy Fire Hall (corner of Watersville Rd and Main St, enter through the back doors). There will be a very full agenda and we hope to have many of our new members in attendance. BUSINESS FAIR The date of our Business Fair is Saturday May 7th. The event will be held at the Fireman’s Activities Grounds on Twin Arch Rd from 11am to 4pm. Booth space starts at $50 and sponsorships are available, starting at $200. We are expecting a very good turn-out as MAYAA Baseball’s Opening Day festivities will be occurring next door on the same day. Airy Chamber of Commerce Business Card Exchange was held on February 24, 2005 at the Stauffer Funeral Homes location in Mount Airy. This event was hosted by Doug Stauffer, George and Courtney Stauffer and D. J. Fenton of Stauffer Funeral Homes; Ellie and Rene Bonde of Blossom & Basket Boutique and the Secret Stork; and Julie Kennedy of Inspiration Point. With lots of delicious food and drinks, forty-eight people were greeted by a large flat screen TV showing various events that the Chamber has participated in and other pictures of businesses in Mt. Airy. Then they were able to wander around to 13 tables holding formation on 13 businesses in our Chamber. It gave several of our guests a good picture of who we are as a Chamber.
